Just finished up Hexagon Hands. Made up of 6 individual assemblies stacked in 2 layers. 48" diameter overall. Constructed of steamed then bent wood, reclaimed lath frames, and paint. Working out if it needs 1 more center piece layer or not.
Is it just me, or does this seem to wave hello? Final dimensions 64" x 47" Reclaimed lath frame, Zebra wood center, wood, paint, rice paper, antique bracelet, brooch center, and gold unders.
Center mandala complete. Steamed and bent zebra wood, rice paper insets, antique bracelet, and brooch.
It's a biggie. Had to use step ladder for aerial view photo. Steamed and bent edges with reclaimed lath frame. Tomorrow the center piece gets assembled. Come see the completed piece this Friday and Saturday @chocolateandart
